In many cases, candidates with deeply held faith-based convictions find themselves without the institutional support they need to mount a viable campaign. Whether due to party infighting, influence from individuals and organizations who do not represent core conservative values, or the simple fact that many campaigns are under-resourced and untrained, too many strong potential leaders are left standing alone.
